Frank Missoul and Dajo Hermans are the powerhouses behind Forest Fwd. Our mission? To create social impact for companies through the most diverse nature and forest projects all over Belgium. We do this in such a way that as a company you contribute much more than just on a financial level, but that you also fully experience your commitment together with all stakeholders.

For the forestry technical aspect, Forest Fwd regularly relies on United Experts Group, a knowledge network specialised in everything related to forest and nature management, climate and agriculture, etc. The group has more than 25 years of experience, counts more than 300 ecologists and bio-engineers, and carries out more than 6,000 projects throughout Belgium every year.
Dajo Hermans
Co-founder
For many years, Dajo worked as a journalist at Het Nieuwsblad and De Standaard. He subsequently built up expertise in the real estate and communications sector. For the past ten years, he was one of the founding fathers of Bepublic Group, a reputable PR company in our country. There, he noticed that companies are increasingly reflecting on the social role they could potentially play. His passion for nature and entrepreneurship automatically led Dajo towards Forest Fwd. "Not just having impact through words, but also through deeds" that's what he is all about.
Frank Missoul
Co-founder
Frank is een fervent loper en natuurliefhebber. Als licenciaat Lichamelijke Opvoeding startte hij in 2011, het eerste interimkantoor voor sportleraars in België, Amitabha. Na de verkoop van zijn eerste bedrijf startte hij diverse nieuwe projecten zoals een co-working plek in Brugge ST+Working, een vastgoedonderneming Rock & Real en een platform voor grote domeinen in Europa, OneMoreHectare.com.
Zijn grootste geluk vindt hij in het creëren van meerwaarde voor alle stakeholders in een project: medewerkers, klanten, leveranciers en de planeet. En dat is exact wat hij wil doen met Forest Fwd!
Dorien Gysens
Sustainability Project Manager
Dorien Gysens graduated as a bio-engineer in forest and nature management at UGent, and can be called a very busy bee. At Forest Fwd she can express her enthusiasm, creativity and passion for nature. But Dorien also has entrepreneurship in her blood. As a student, she already ran her own mini-company, helping horse owners make their pastures more ecological. Dorien's mission is obvious: "To help companies build a sustainable world."

Arnout Cogen
SR Consultant
Arnout studied journalism at the Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent and is a magician with words. During his internship at De Gentenaar he first came into contact with Forest Fwd. At the planting of the very first company forest Arnout was present and immediately did the first press interview. Today he is SR consultant (not Public Relations, but Sustainable Relations) at Story Fwd, the PR agency that focuses on sustainable projects and impact stories. Walk the talk and talk the walk, it is certainly a slogan that is right up Arnout's alley.
